From dinghy sailing in Weymouth to a dive centre in Liverpool, our centers of excellence give you a chance to meet new friends, have a fantastic time, plus get qualified in a range of subjects.
Sea Cadet qualifications count as most are accredited by the leading UK bodies including the RYA, British Canoe Union, British Sub Aqua Club and St Johns’ Ambulance.
HMS Caledonia, Rosyth
Emphasis is on boating at nearby Port Edgar. Learn to sail, drive powerboats and windsurf, courses from beginner level to advanced. Other activities include: Shooting, Drill, First Aid, Meteorology and Cook Steward.
Weymouth Cadet Centre
A new purpose built training centre close to the harbour and the venue for the 2012 Olympic Sailing Regatta. On water you will learn to sail, drive powerboats and windsurf. Off the water you can study marine engineering to BTEC Level. The drill deck/sports hall has a 7.6m high, eight route climbing wall and an indoor shooting range.
TS Neptune, Liverpool
A national diving centre offering dive courses accredited by the British Sub Aqua Club and the chance to secure qualifications that can entitle you to dive anywhere in the world. Courses include: Sports Diving, Ocean Diving, Expeditionary Diving and Snorkeling.
Royal Marines Cadet Training
Challenge yourself and others whilst undergoing arduous but exciting and exhilarating activities. Courses take place in various UK locations including the Royal Marine Commando Training Centre at Lympstone in Devon. You will learn Fieldcraft, Map Reading and Weapon Handling.
