The Sea Cadets

Chaplains

Chaplains, appointed from clergy, lay readers and others with an authorized ministry, work with the Unit to provide moral, spiritual, pastoral guidance and leadership in support of the cadets and volunteers alike.

A variety of training is available to all Chaplains, which will give confidence by covering topics that are useful in everyday ministry, as well as any of the roles they may feel able to undertake in the service of their Unit.

Chaplains are expected to serve all faith communities, and followers of any faith or creed are welcome to approach the Unit Chaplain with the assurance that their beliefs will be respected.
Many Units have Chaplains, who are supported and overseen by the Corps Chaplain, Staff Chaplain and Area Chaplains. For more information go to: www.sccheadquarters.com/chaplains
